Terms of Service
These are the general terms for using the ConsultMarg website and service.
1. About these terms
ConsultMarg is a product of Codedrops Tech. These terms apply to your use of this website and of the ConsultMarg service. By using the website or the service, you agree to them. If you use the service on behalf of a consultancy, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms for it.
2. The service
ConsultMarg is an online system for education consultancies. It helps them capture leads, track students and documents, manage money, and message students and staff. Features can change as we improve the service. Some features depend on third-party services that the consultancy connects, such as SMS, WhatsApp, Telegram and IELTS Test Nepal, and those are not part of our service.
3. Pilot, plans and payment
We may offer a supervised pilot before a consultancy starts a paid plan. The plan, price, limits and payment terms for each customer are as shown on our pricing page or as agreed with us in writing. Prices are shown before VAT unless we say otherwise. Fees are payable in advance for the period chosen, and are non-refundable except where the law or our written agreement says otherwise.
Services paid for separately, such as SMS credits, WhatsApp Business access and IELTS Test Nepal practice seats, are charged by their providers or as agreed with us.
4. Accounts and staff
- Staff join a consultancy's workspace by invitation. The consultancy owner decides who is invited and what role they have.
- You are responsible for keeping your login details secret and for what is done with your account.
- Tell us promptly if you think an account has been used without permission.
5. Your data
The consultancy owns the data it puts into the service, and is responsible for having the right to collect and use it, including permission from students and their parents or guardians. We use that data only to provide and support the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. The consultancy can export its data, and we will help it do so when it leaves.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for anything unlawful, misleading or harmful.
- Send spam or unwanted messages through the service.
- Try to access another consultancy's workspace or data, or to break or overload the service.
- Copy, resell or reverse engineer the service, except as the law allows.
We may suspend access that breaks these rules, after warning you where that is reasonable.
7. Accounting and legal matters
The service helps with daily money work, but it does not replace your accountant. You remain responsible for your own accounting, tax and legal compliance, including invoices, VAT and withholding tax.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available and reliable, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, add or remove features, and we will give notice of any change that significantly affects paying customers.
9. Our rights in the service
We own the service, including its software, design and branding. These terms give you the right to use it, not to own any part of it.
10. Limits on our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided as it is, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profit or lost business. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Ending the agreement
You may stop using the service at any time. We may end or suspend access if you break these terms or do not pay. When an agreement ends, we will help the consultancy export its data, as described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continued use after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, and the courts of Nepal can hear any dispute about them.
